The attractive village of Kirchberg is situated in the heart of the Wilder Kaiser area and is a popular venue for all Winter Sports.

Winter Walking in Mariastein, Kosen and Kaiser areas.

For Cross Country Skiers there are a wide rang of tracks to suit all abilities. Novices are especially welcome.

For Alpine and Downhill skiers Kirchberg is one of the premier centres in Austria with easy access to the Kitzbuhel slopes of Kitzbulhorn and the world famous Hahenkamm, a ski bus operates from near to the Hotel and ski-hire and lift passes are available nearby.

The Hotel Taxacherhof is family run with all rooms having private facilities, TV room, modern lounge bar area, Gourmet Restaurant, Sauna, Steam bath and Solarium. The Hotel offers a buffet breakfast, choice of menu and a traditional Christmas Dinner and Christmas Day.

It is also ideally situated and will offer guests superb facilities throughout their stay. Led by experienced Walking and Cross Country Ski Leaders.

Cross Country Skiers will enjoy the prepared tracks in breathtaking scenery. The walkers will enjoy a winter wonderland on prepared paths (Winterwanderwegs) and both groups will enjoy stops for lunch and refreshment. The use of our coach during the week will enable the groups to visit different areas in a snow covered paradise.
